Here's a few flag shots I took when visiting a friend's family in Wisconsin just after Memorial Day:

Very nice! I bet the old barn is a treat.

Oh, it's an absolute delight...100 years old, and as you can see it's a pretty good size...that's dairy country, although our friend's family just raised beef cattle there. It's got all kinds of cool mechanical contraptions - a pulley-system hay lift, controlled by ropes on the ground, that would lift loose hay to the peak, slide to either side, and dump the load; there's a big trough on a chain system that lets you muck out the cow stantions downstairs without needing a wheelbarrow, and then move it out above a manure spreader to dump it...and then he's got a ton of old gear as well...

They hosted a huge barn dance for extended family and friends...dancing to the polka band in that barn, next to the beer truck, on a perfect June night, with kids running around the yard, one of their sons home on leave (although a son-in-law in Afghanistan - he was missed) - what an absolutely perfect night it was...I took over a thousand pictures over the weekend!
