How many people worked in the Twin Towers?
I don't know the number, but it's probably something over 50,000. That's how many people our enemies were TRYING to kill.
They would snuff out that many lives without a qualm. So don't think for a moment that if—when—they get nuclear weapons they will hesitate to use them out of any moral scruples. (Or use them against their own people. The terrorists have killed far more Muslims than Christians.)
The war is REAL. The urgency is real. The necessity for all parties and factions to support our elected leaders is obvious.

And do you not remember? (Mk 8:18)
I distinctly remember watching the news coverage on 9/11 and hearing someone say that roughly 25,000 people worked in a single tower, so your 50,000 number sounds right.
The first Trade Center bombing in 1993 was an attempt to blow one tower up, at the bottom, and topple it into the other. Had it been successful the death toll would have been many times the number on 9/11.
And yet the entire country (myself included) shrugged the whole thing off and took comfort from the fact that the terrorists seemed stupid and incompetent.
