From the pictures you’ve shown, It’s not a “Pro America” rally, but rather a “Pro War” one...

America is at war. CONGRESS has voted for war. To support our war effort and our troops is to support America.

To attack the war is to attack America.

We are now hearing a thousand-and-one slippery sneaky tricksy formulations that try to evade that point. But it cannot be escaped.

I can remember not being in favor of the war in Kosovo, but once we were there, I wanted us to do everything in our power to win. Demonstrating against it (WAS there any demonstrations against the Kosovo war?) and hobbling our military and those who needed to fight the war just seemed counterproductive once hostilities were engaged.

We are in this fight NOW, shouldn't we want our country to win? The time for debate was in the sixteen months before the war, and if sixteen months is not enough time for debate, how much is enough time?
