Day on the water...

Charlene and I had a great day today. We were out sailing on the Bay with friends. Beautiful weather, a total treat.

Charlene at the helm...
Here's Charlene taking a turn at the helm. The boat is a Sabre 36, and that's the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

You’re making me homesick, sir...

I didn't know any Sabres got to the West Coast!

I have no idea of the provenence of this boat, but I mentioned it because I knew you would be interested.

Our captain belongs to the OCSC (Olympic Circle Sailing Club) and chartered it for a day for us. (People put their boats to charter at the club, to be used for classes and sailing, and apparently make enough to break even.)

Charlene is very keen to learn to sail, and is probably going to take a one-week course there. And me too, if we can afford it...
