At long last...
I finally got around to creating an RJ mug, which is available here, at CafePress for $11.95. You'll love it, it's very Multicultural.![]()
What next?
Note: These are supposedly dishwasher-safe, but I'm not sure. I bought a couple of instant-press mugs two years ago for Charlene. (They read: "Charter Member, Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.") The one at her office is still bright, but the color has faded in the one at home, which is washed in the dishwasher...
UPDATE: Lance confirms they are NOT dishwasher-safe. See comments.
Perhaps after rent is paid, I'll see if I have US$12 left over. Want one!
What does it say under the logo?
Posted by: Andrew Cory at July 18, 2004 11:01 PMUnder the logo is:
For the conservative temperament the future is the past. Hence, like the past, it is knowable and lovable...
-- Roger Scruton
(see here for the reference)
On the back side:
Take time in your preparation of coffee
and God will be with you and bless you and your table.
Where coffee is served there is grace and splendour
and friendship and happiness...
-- Sheik Abd-al-Kadir 1857
They are dishwasher safe in the sense that they won't immediately melt or explode in your dishwasher, but they are not dishwasher safe in the sense that the decoration won't fade away rather promptly. That is, if my blogger and liberzine.com mugs are any indication.

This is fine, of course, I don’t even have a coffee maker. (Come to think of it, what _do_ I drink hot chocolate out of? Moot point now, but when winter hits...)
Hm. I've got one I ordered from Jim Treacher and it hasn't faded in the dishwasher. It just has a simple phrase in black letters, though; I don't know about multicolored logos.
Posted by: Andrea Harris at July 20, 2004 05:21 AMMine were both ordered a few years back. Perhaps CafeShops has developed a better method of applying logos to mugs since.
